The ACE Mission – Managing workforce wants and needs.

Workplace demands have been a rapidly evolving sector of the HR world and its importance is widely recognised. Mental health in the workplace has been on the forefront of HR strategies and in turn, physical health is now being recognised in aiding mental wellbeing. In 2024, the Department for Work and Pensions conducted and employers survey that found that 87% of employers agree that they have a responsibility support employees’ physical and mental health, and 72% say they know how to do so. However, there is a clear disconnect between employers and their teams as it is widely observed that the majority of workplace health strategies have low engagement and uptake of resources. Vitality Insurance conducted their research in workplace health and wellbeing in UK organisations through their Britain's Healthiest Workplace survey. This research found the following:

  • 63% of employees want their employer to do more to support their health.

  • On average, only 25% of wellbeing interventions offered are used by employees.

  • Health is the most significant factor influencing productivity, not where we work.

The above research gives a clear disconnection between employers and employees view of what the future of workplace wellbeing is, and it is our mission at Ace Corporate Fitness to provide the link between employees and their employers to provide a happier and more productive workplace.

At Ace Corporate Fitness we have a simple mission, ‘to promote the health of the individual to ignite the team's potential". Initially, the founding of the ACE Corporate Fitness was based upon a correlation between the health of an individual employee and the work production of the team. With further insight, we discovered that rising absenteeism through sickness was becoming one of the highest cost implications to a business. We hypothesised that if we could increase the health and happiness in the team, we could reduce absenteeism and health deterioration of the team. We started our strategy from one fundamental connection to be successful, we established a connection between company directors and employees to create a community based on values of health, playfulness and trust. Through initial consultation from all parts of the company community, we then strategize both digital and in person solutions to provide a completely bespoke plan for wellbeing of the company. At this current moment in time, our strategies have a 67% engagement rate at the companies that we are partnered with, showing what can be achieved by connecting company directors with their teams through an effective workplace wellbeing strategy which in turn builds camaraderie and productivity within the company.

In today’s evolving workplace, health and wellbeing initiatives can no longer be viewed as optional extras, they are essential tools for driving productivity, engagement, and long-term business success. While employers increasingly recognise their role in supporting employee wellbeing, there remains a significant gap between intention and impact. At Ace Corporate Fitness, we exist to close that gap.

By building tailored, high-engagement programmes rooted in collaboration, trust, and measurable outcomes, we empower companies to create workplaces where employees thrive physically, mentally, and socially. When you invest in the health of the team, you’re investing in the strength of your business. It’s time to rethink return on investment not just in terms of cost savings, but in building a workplace culture that attracts talent, reduces turnover, and brings out the best in every team.

Let’s reshape the future of work, health-first.
